    01

Tell us your trade and patch

Reply to one email with what you do and the areas you cover. That's the whole setup.

    02

    We read every new notice

Each morning we go through every new contract on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, the government's official services.

    03

You get the ones worth pricing

One short email: what the job is, who's buying, the value, the deadline and a link to the documents. Nothing on quiet days.

    Bid writing

Found one you want? We'll write the bid.

Most small firms lose tenders on the paperwork, not the price. Send us the tender and your details and we'll write the written answers properly.

    What we write

    • Answers to the quality questions, scored the way buyers mark them
    • Method statements and how you'll deliver the work
    • Social value: local jobs, apprentices, community benefit
    • Health and safety, quality and environmental answers
    • A checklist of every document and certificate the buyer asks for

    How it works

    £295per bid
    • You send the tender link and a few details about your firm
    • We write the bid and send it back for you to check
    • You make any changes and submit it yourself

    How bid writing works
    Questions

    Straight answers.

Where do the contracts come from?

From the UK government's two official tender services, Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. Councils, NHS trusts, schools, universities, housing associations and government departments all publish there.

I'm a small firm. Is public work really for me?

Yes. In the week shown on this page, more than half the contracts with a stated value were under £1.5m, and many small jobs (repairs, cleaning, grounds, single-site works) are well under £100k. We only send you contracts that suit a firm your size.

Do you guarantee I'll win work?

No, and nobody honest can. We make sure you see the right contracts early enough to price them properly. If you want help with the written side, we can write the bid.

How is this different from searching the portals myself?

You can search them for free, and some firms do. It just takes time every day, and the search tools aren't built around trades. We do the reading and only send what fits.

    How do I cancel?

Reply "cancel" to any alert, or cancel from your Stripe receipt. No notice period.

What do you do with my details?

We only use them to send your alerts and never sell them. Read our privacy notice.

    Who's behind this

We've written bids for small firms before. This is the bit we wish they'd had.

Before Tender Alerts UK, our founder ran a bid-writing service for small UK firms. The pattern was always the same: good firms losing work because they found tenders too late or lost marks on the written answers.

The best result: one client won 40% more tenders once we were writing their bids. We can't promise that for everyone, but it's why we built this: find the right contracts early, then write bids that score.
